Adding a field to registration check out page

I would like help in adding a field for "Organization Name" on my event's checkout pages that maps to a specific field on the contact. I already added the field in the event module but it shows up as un-editable when I test the actual form.

I asked about this during an office hours and was told that it was a rather complicated process and that I should make a post asking for help.

My Organization ID is: 00Di0000000e51m and I have already granted you access.

We have upgraded your instance to the latest release & completed the post-installation.

I believe your issue was related to a post-install permission.

Please test and let us know if that works.
