  • Temporary contacts not posting to Salesforce

When I process contacts in C&P - Manage Contacts - the registrant and campaign info is not updated to the Levels in the campaigns in Salesforce. In Salesforce, the campaign event is updated but not the level campaign. For example:
Event is ASB New Jersey 2015
There are 4 levels under ASB New Jersey 2015 - week 1, week 2, week 3 and week 4.
ASB New Jersey 2015 is updated, but not the applicable week 1, week 2, week 3 or week 4.

My Salesforce Org ID is 00Do0000000ZrdX.

    Good day!

We reviewed your instance and noticed that your event is anonymous. Anonymous events don't have attendees and only registrants. The registrant purchases tickets and they are not assigned to a Contact.

The attendee is the one that will be assigned to the Campaign and as such it is assigned to the event campaign. If you wish to have the attendees be assigned to the event then the event has to be a named event (not anonymous).

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

It won't let me change take the check mark out of Anonymous if the event has registrations. I can change it for those events that aren't Anonymous, but what can I do about the ones that have registrations?

        Good day!

An anonymous event cannot be changed to named and a named one cannot be changed to anonymous once a single registration has taken place.

The data structures are totally different. You may change these settings as long as the event does not have anyone registered.

Are the registrations test transactions or "real" registrations?

They are real registrations. I had no knowledge of the Anonymous field being in checked in the Baltimore ASB event. I cloned all other events from there. Is there any other way to resolve this? I'm not sure if I can manually input the registration info into Salesforce. I only have a few registrations now, but I don’t see how I can keep up with manually updating Salesforce for all the registrations I expect to come in. Is there some way to resolve this? I'll post this on the forum also. Thank you.
