Swiper1 check-in status

I am working to build some functionality around if an Event Registered Attendee checks-in via Swiper1 and would like to know what the check-in values are that are populated into the "Check-In Status" field. Can you pls advise? Thank you!

it is my understanding that the field CnP_PaaS_EVT__CheckIn_Status__c on object CnP_PaaS_EVT__Event_attendee_session__c is updated by Swiper1. It is a text field and I would like to know what value is entered into the field by Swiper1. Thank you!

The field you are referring to has the following 2 possible values:

1. Check-In
2. Check-Out

Thank you! So Swiper1 will populate with "Check-In" when the registrant has checked in.

I am confused about this functionality. I noticed that on the "Check-In and Check-Out" object that there is a picklist with values of "Checked-In" and "Checked-Out". I have tried to manually create a check-in/check-out record related to an event attendee but do not see the "Check-In Status" field on the event attendee update. Can you confirm if this field updates and what the conditions are for it to update and what the values are that are populated onto this text field on the event attendee. Thank you.

There is a lookup relationships between attendee and check-in object. Please note that an attendee may check-in and check-out many times, coming in through one door, leaving through another door, and coming back through yet another door. This update does not automatically happen.

We find the last check-in and check-out and update the attendee record with that information.
