  • Deleting Registrants & Manually Entering Registrations without Payment

    Hello,

I have an event that is live and accepting registrations. I have a few questions.

    1. Is there a way to delete a registrant that I entered manually and/or is a test registrant? There is no option on the registrant/attendee section in our app to delete or edit. I am fairly certain that this can happen, but my setup isn't allowing it. What are the steps to correct this?

    2. For this particular event, we require the submission of a separate vendor form that is not connected to C&P Events. We also accept physical checks and cash as payment. That means that we could get a vendor form by email while we wait for the physical check in the mail. I want to be able to manually enter these registrants without adding a payment (like a pledge), and then add the payment once the check is received. It would be much easier for me to be able to manage all registrants, payment received or not, on the C&P Event app. Is this possible to do? If so, please let me know what steps are needed for creating this option.

2.a. I also tried Custom Payments, but that option adds revenue as a payment to overall event totals. That will not work and is actually not accurate for our reporting and budgeting.

    3. Lastly, the registration form includes both a registrant section and attendee section to complete. For someone who is registering themselves, this can be a lengthy process. Is there any way to turn off the 'Registrant' field? Or is there a way to provide an option that let's the person choose if they are registering themselves or someone else? Any insight on this and the other two questions would be great.

I hope to hear from you soon as we have people registering now.

    Best,

    Colette Rodgers

    Good day!

REPLY: You may delete a TEST transaction attendee having used the Test card. A live credit card cannot be deleted since it affects inventory. If a test has been done using the 4111 in test mode it can be deleted.

REPLY: The Box Office is designed for manual registration but taking payments and then changing their state to assigning them to a transaction is not a feature. We have not been asked for this but it is a good feature to add. Currently the Box Office transactions used will be considered final and not something that can be changed or re-assigned to a transaction at a later date. I will request this to be included in the next release due out first quarter of 2015.

REPLY: No- the registrant and attendee forms are not combined at this time. A registrant information form is setup differently than that of the attendee and different questions and fields may be mapped for each. For example the attendee may be asked his or her first and last name but the registrant (Payer) needs to add the billing address, etc.
