  • Shopp and C&P Events

    Permission granted to C&P for one week.

    Getting ready to really implement the Event Management for our senior college class registration. At Kami's suggestion we will have one Event, the Fall 2016 classes, and under that 25-30 LEVELS for the different courses. People will pay a registration fee (as the first level) and then choose the levels after that for the courses. I have played with the Event Management settings, etc, and test payments seem to be working well.

    We already have Shopp implemented for online registration at
    http://midcoastseniorcollege.org/shop/category/spring-2016-courses and if possible would like to continue to use it. I have installed the C&P payment gateway as described in the C&P manual. BUT NOW WHAT? How does the Shopp info get paired with the C&P fields? I can't find any info on that anywhere.

    Good day!

    What information from Shopp are you working on posting? The Shopp implementation posts the following information to Salesforce:
    • Item Name
    • Price
    • SKU
    At this time the above are the only fields that are passed.

      I wanted to post a lot of fields - 20 or so, that Shopp gathers on registration. I talked to Kami yesterday at open hour and he said that y'all were working on Shopp and that if I gave him all the information about the web site you could go in and set it up. I have discussed this with our webmaster, and he would prefer not to do that, but is amenable to our doing an iframe of a C&P Event registration on the site. I'd appreciate it if you'd tell Kami that we won't be looking for Shopp-C&P integration right now, but I may have more questions for him on the C&P-SF integration in the next few months! Thanks for all your help.

          I have persuaded our webmaster and he has persuaded his tech persons to let us go ahead and INTEGRATE SHOPP WITH C&P EVENT MANAGEMENT, which I am setting up to register students in a senior college in Maine. Kami said that you would do this, to give you all the information you need to access the site, which is midcoastseniorcollege.org. I would much prefer not to give it here in this public forum, so if someone will contact me at [email protected] I'll give you everything you need. Thanks!! This is a good time of year for us to not be using any registration setup.
