  • Create a Copy of Click and Pledge Account

    Hello,

    I met with Kamran at the C&P booth at Dreamforce and he told me it was possible to create a copy of my account so that I could use a different email address per account for my different departments that will be using C&P events. He recommended I put in a support ticket but I haven't heard back yet so I thought I'd try on here - this is an last minute project and was given a deadline of Monday to meet.

    My C&P Account ID is 27310 and you have been granted login access.

    How many accounts do you need as duplicates of 27310?

        We duplicated your account twice - Copy 1 and Copy 2.

        Please login to your account and select the account you wish to manage. The options will appear as a pull down menu.

        Using your login you may also download report for all accounts you have access to.

          Thank you! I see the two copies you've made for me and was able to successfully connected the accounts to Salesforce.

          I had a question regarding the public site URL - should each Account get its own public site URL? We will be running these events in parallel to each other. I've highlighted the field I'm referring to in the following image:

            Good day!

            Glad to see the accounts are working well.

            In reference to the public site URL the answer is NO. You just need one site - you may simply call it "default". All we do is based on parameters appended to the end of that URL. There is absolutely no reason to have multiple site URL's - all it does is add more work for the post-installation and absolutely no benefit.

            A single Public Site URL can work for all events, invoices, images, autoresponders, etc.
