  • Authorization Required Error with Event Management External Site

    Hi,

I am managing an event in Salesforce that has been working fine until last week when I turned on contact validation rules. The external page is receiving the following error when processing the registration:

"Authorization Required. You must first log in or register before accessing this page. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it."

I turned off the contact validation rules and the error is still occurring. I have granted access and did verify that credit card transactions did not process. Thank you Kamran for your review through Office Hours.

The country is not required but state is required. If country is not selected it will generate error as it will be missing. See below:

Which event do you have a problem with? Please let us know the event name so we can review it.

I am having problems with ALL the active events. The registration had been working fine with the form fields as you see, until this past week. Once you get to the "Process" screen you receive an "Authorization Required You must first log in...." message. See picture.... Credit card transactions are not processing.

Problem has been fixed!!! Here is what I found: The Salesforce Critical Update "Require TLS 1.1 or higher for HTTPS connections" was activated. C&P does not support TLS 1.1 - Once this was deactivated it worked and we were able to connect and our Event Registrations are now processing.
