  • Event Listing Page Banner Not Available

When I create a new event, I do not have the option to create a page banner. I installed all C&P platforms Feb 23, so I have all the most recent versions. Please help!

    Good day!

The page banner is simply in the editor in the Site Template. The editor allows you to add images, text, etc.

There is no field that is set for page banner.

Have you tried the Site Templates?

Yes. When I use a supplied template, for example Callisto, and click to update the provided image to my own, it only asks for a URL, not a user added image.

        Good day!

It may be a permission issue when the app was upgraded.

Sorry about that...I was wondering why I couldn't see my post right away. Yes, you have the correct instance. Thanks for your help!

No, it doesn't show. However, sometimes it will show me the upload tab in certain content blocks. But in others, I don't see the tab. I thought I was doing something wrong, so I deleted all my initial events, site templates, and event listings to try starting over again. I have been playing with the tool the last 2 days, testing different CSS & HTML customizations, so I could see what all I could do as custom. Throughout my testing, I noticed this inconsistency. What I'd like to do is have an Event Listing page serve as my main event page, then have folks get directed to different registration sites that are designed for that particular activity - such as one for a parade registration, one for sponsorship signup, one for volunteer sign up, one to navigate to a 5K run supported by a 3rd party registration site. Then allow folks to simply donate if they don't want to do any of the above, but want to help underwrite the costs of the event. When I got to the Event Listing page, I couldn't add my own image. So, now I am starting over with a test, and I'm still seeing the attached. I used Callisto as the template to see what would happen. I looked at all the forums & tutorials, that's where I saw that there was a banner field...but maybe that was an old version...

I noticed a difference in what you did versus what I did. It looks like you inserted new at your cursor position, whereas I clicked/highlighted the existing image to simply update it. Might that be the difference? If so, then something I couldn't do was insert a new background image/banner image. Everytime I would delete the provided image and insert a new image, the image wouldn't appear as a background/banner image. So I thought maybe I needed to select the provided image & update it so that it stayed in the same position. Am I not understanding something related to the background/banner?
