  • Swiper1 Authentication

    Hello,

    I hopped on support to troubleshoot Event Setting / User Registration authentication the other day. Was getting "error occurred while Authorizing".

    The error is back on my device and other devices. I'm hoping to set up a handful of devices with a group tomorrow morning. Is there something you can do on your end to get it working again? I' not sure if I can make today's support webinar given my schedule.

    Details:Thanks,
    John

    Good day!

    Please let us know which userid has the issue so we can login and test. We really did not do anything during the office hour- we simply re-established the connection.

    I wonder if Sandbox connections with OAuth are not stable. It is strange.

    Would you please try establishing the connection again and try. Clients never touch the connection once it has been established so this is a bit strange - but I have never had anyone do this in the sandbox.

      Thank you. I thought you had done some magic on your end.

      This is what I just tried that worked in case it is helpful to others:
      - Verify SF connection in Portal
      - Log out of Swiper1
      - Log back in

      I wonder if you / engineers have thoughts about why that is. Tickets are still posting to SF Sandbox without re-connecting. Wonder if session time expires too quickly somewhere.

        @JBaldo,

        We have to test this with Sandbox. As I stated this has never been reported and we typically do not test with Sandbox. Our test platforms are full enterprise versions - I am wondering if Sandbox has a shorter session time and expires the OAuth token.

        Given the unstable nature of Sandbox I truly do not recommend going into production with the Sandbox version.
