  • Event Registered Attendees not mapping to Contacts

    Our Event Registered Attendees are not mapping to contacts. The Registrants are mapping as desired, but no mapping for Attendees. For this reason, the Related List on Contacts is not populating.

    Please advise. Below is our Org ID and I have granted access for 1 week.

    Good day!

    Please post the order number of one or two of the transactions that did not map correctly so we can review your settings versus the posted data.

      Ticket GUID for Attendee Andrea Kelley (took this off the Attendee Report). This person is a contact in Salesforce.

        Ticket GUID for Jeff Harding (took this off the Attendee Report). This person is a contact in Salesforce. Also, this person is also a person who registered a group. He is mapping correctly to Registrants.

          Good day @Jaskelson,

          We found an issue with the settings in your instance. When saved some values were not saved correctly and resulted in this issue.

          The issue has been fixed and all orphaned data were reposted and fixed.

            We are having the same issue where a Registered Attendee does not map to the contact correctly. It just says "Check Temp Contact" The registrant is mapped correctly, but the attendee is not (tested as the same person).

            Can you tell me what settings were incorrect so I can check them in our instance?

              Hi Eric,

              This means the data has not posted to Salesforce. Is your connection working?

              Check the order number & see if the C&P Data for that order is in Salesforce. If not push it from Connect.

                Yes, the C&P Data record is in Salesforce along with the Transaction record.

                I have granted login access. org id 00DU0000000IrhT if you want to take a look.

                This is for the Event "Test Gen Synod" and applies to both attendee registrations.

                    Sure,

                    160411112119091 and 160411114157708 both had this problem. Both of which are contacts in SF.

                    I've attached a screenshot.

                      The issue was with the permissions for your user. We added the proper permission sets to your user and now it works.

                            I'm getting this same issue for anonymous registration for two new events that I posted.
                            C&P Account:

                            a2M6A000000MmwKUAS - People of Color Sangha with Lama Rod Owens
                            a2M6A000000MmwFUAS - Diving Deep: Living the Satipatthana Sutta

                            Same issue, Registrants finds the contact, Registered Attendees does not. This results in the Opportunity not logging the Primary Contact. Thanks.
