Event Attendees temp contacts not working correctly post-upgrade

    Good day!

    We have reviewed your instance & have observed the following:
    • You have created a VIEW at the Temporary Contact OLD TAB which opens when you open any record and it redirects to the PaaS Temp records not the Event temporary contacts. In other words you are forcing the view to go to the PaaS records and not Event records. Hope that makes sense - your view is causing this issue.

    The View has no parameter to identify the Event attendees as these parameters are not available. The link from event adds parameters that filters on the event.

    If you see your tabs by clicking on the + sign you will see 2 tabs for C&P Temporary Contacts:

    You have renamed our C&P Temporary Contacts to "C&P Temporary Contacts Terminal". The old tab has been deprecated and should be deleted. The new tab is the one above it, titled: C&P Temporary Contacts. The post-installation has a note about deleting this tab.

    In the latest release we have a custom Temporary Contact tab which is no longer the standard tab and is a Visual Force page to easily separate the event from PaaS.

    If you wish we can upgrade you and you will be able to take advantage of the new tab.

    We understand that all temps are in the same place, and we can filter and see which ones are the attendees and which are the registrant temp records.

    However, when we click on the TC-0595 link associated with Jess (for instance) we get the opportunity ONLY to handle the record for the registrant Diedre.

    It really is malfunctioning.

    New bug noticed: As well, if we try to merge a registrant TC, it works fine. If we try to merge an attendee TC, it simply doesn't and reloads the same page.

    All Temps are now in the same place. They are all correct so if you go to Temp and see the filter on attendee or registrant you will see them.

    Please note this important point. If a person is NOT in your contact they are not going to be found in each of the steps. When someone registers themselves for an event and they are both attendee and registrant we create a temp for them as the attendee since when trying to create the attendee we cannot find them and then later when they pay we cannot find them when processing the payment.

    You have the option to ask different questions from the attendee or registrant so there is no way for us to determine they are the same person.

    We recently upgraded C&P Events, and now when an individual registrant registers multiple attendees for an event, the temporary contact pages for all the attendees malfunction.

    So, in our instance, TC-0593 and TC-0594 say Diedre ... (the registrant and one of the attendees). TC-0595 is Jess ... and TC-0596 is Becky ... - in the TC listing tab.

    BUT, click on Tc-0595, and you see Diedre (NOT JESS); same with TC-0596, Diedre (NOT BECKY).

    Basically, click on any attendee, and you get the *registrant's* temp contact, not the attendee's.
