  • Default System Receipt sending even though not checked?

    I am still trying to get my very first event live and am trying to set up an autoresponder email instead of the default system receipt. The autoresponder receipt is now being sent, but the default system receipt is ALSO being sent. I have UNCHECKED the default system receipt, but it is still being sent. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

    Event: Club_Adv_Lava Ridge_2014-15
    Click and Pledge Account #: 29472

    I have granted access to my Salesforce if you need it.

    Good day!

    The SYSTEM receipt is always sent to the organization but if unchecked it will NOT be sent to the donor / patron.

    Each event has a setting for sending receipt in the MESSAGES tab for the event management. If you uncheck the Send Receipt then it won't go out to the donor but the organization always gets a copy of the receipt.

    I hope that answers your question.
