  • Bitly Integration

    I am working through the Bitly instructions provided and I'm stick on an error (pasted below). Under Third Party integration, I entered Service Provider, Name and copied Client ID and Client Secret from the Bitly account. When I click Save, I get this error.

    {"status_code": 500, "data": null, "status_txt": "REDIRECT_URI_DOES_NOT_MATCH_APPLICATION"} Please advise, Jacki

        Also, we are preparing for the first event to be published. Would appreciate an extra set of eyes on the event to make sure we are integrated correctly with Salesforce. I am a new partner with C&P.

          We identified a mistake in the manual and fixed it. Please see: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...on-with-bit-ly

          Step 6 link that needs to be added was changed prior to release and the manual was not updated. The link suffix should be: cnp_paas__oauthverification

          Please go to slide 6 and change the link as instructed in your bit.ly account. The redirect URL is not right in your bitly setting.

          Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

            The extra slash at the end needs to be removed. We have removed it for you so it should be fine now.

            Accounts:

            In the basic setting you had 2 identical accounts added which is not right. We deleted one of them.

            Additional Donation:

            You have additional donation as a level and also as the native feature. See image below:

            We deleted the level as that is not necessary.

            Also please note that your event is in TEST mode so you need to make it active prior to going live.

            The rest is OK so the event should be fine.

              Back to the Bitly integration - I changed the link as instructed an am still getting the error when I try to save.

                Good day!

                Since we really do not want to ask for your userid & password to bit.ly so we can check your setting - is it possible for you to post images of where you are adding these settings. Please make sure to post them as JPG since this forum does not show PNG files clearly.

                    Good day!

                    We have resolved the issue in your instance. The link was wrong in text case. Salesforce is case sensitive and we resolved the typo.
