  • Getting Data Tables warning for a certain user/profile

    Hi,
I am the system admin for Salesforce and have been creating a new event in C&P Events. The event appears normally for me, but the user I need to hand this off to is getting a Data Tables error when he tried to access the event.

Here is the error which includes an OK button to move forward:
DataTables warning (table id = 'j_id0:j_id15:j_id16:Eventslist'): Requested unknown parameter '6' from the data source for row 0DataTables warning (table id = 'j_id0:j_id15:j_id16:Eventslist'): Requested unknown parameter '6' from the data source for row 0

This happens as soon as he selects Click and Pledge Events from this app menu. Since he can click OK, the message will go away but I don't know what may be effected. I tested another user with his same profile and she got the error to so it seems to be by profile and theirs is a custom profile.

I have confirmed their profile has Modify All Data checked in system permissions.

Even though I have set up the event's initial basic and additional information this user needs to take over from here and have full access. I can see already that he does not have Delete access. Is this related to the data tables error? Will we be able to swap ownership of this event somehow?

    thanks,
    Michelle

    Good day Michelle,

To review & find the issue we need the following:

    - Grant login access to your account as an admin so we can review the post-installation of event.
    - A user with the same profile so we can review the error and test after reviewing the post-install permissions. Please set the user with the email: [email protected]- this allows us to receive the verification code when we first login.

As soon as we have the above access we will be able to review & help you resolve the issue.

      Granted access

Ok, I have done both. Granted login access to C&P for 3 days. I also borrowed current user Jillian Spindle's user license, profile= MEDA Development User, and replaced with your email below. I triggered a password reset to your email.

I replied on 8/29 to the email I got as a result to your request to grant access, but got a reply later that the forum will not see that reply. Counter-intuitive. Hoping forum can assist today.

      Thanks,
      Michelle

        Good day Michelle,

I am terribly sorry but I gave you the wrong TLD for our general mailbox. It should be: [email protected] - I sent you the .net which is not correct.

Please update and let us know so we can review it.

        Sorry for the inconvenience.

            Good day!

We have tried to login and test it but Salesforce does not let us login:

"You haven't selected an answer to your password hint. Try the following: Contact your company's administrator for assistance."

It seems like the hint is not set up. This happens when an existing user has this issue since you changed the email of an existing user.

Is there anyway you can set this up and let us know.

              hi,
I sent you a second user invite after I was told my first reply about it didn't go to the forum. I decided not to borrow an existing one and was able to create a new user for you. The user name is
[email protected] and that is the email the invite should have gone to. Not the .net alias you sent before. Are you logging in as a the right person? I will not have set a password for you and you will need to create one.

              thanks,
              Michelle

                Hi Michelle,

The issue has been resolved and we modified the profile with the required permissions.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Great, thanks very much. I would like to know which permissions you had to edit in case this happens to other profiles later.

                  thanks,
                  Michelle
