Thanks. That seems to have fixed it for other users as well.

    Good day @AndyB,

Would you please check the Temp now and see if it is working?

We added the permission set for Event C&P Event All Permission to the user. The issue was with permission over event object for that user.

It seems like only admins can grant login access and since admins are not having the problem, I don't think that would be helpful. Should I plan to come to office hours this week instead?

Also, yes, please do upgrade us to the latest release. Thanks for noticing that.

    @AndyB,

Your instance is also not at the latest release. The release we had in January is not in your account. While we review this we can also upgrade you. Let us know if you wish to be upgraded.

    Good day @AndyB,

We have been waiting for access from that user for a while.

Please login as that user and grant us access from that User's account. Having that we will be able to login as the user and test.

Thanks David, I will consider that for a temporary solution, but I can't do that for long term. Hopefully an answer will come soon.

A quick note from my own experiences. I was unable to determine what caused it, and had to grant them System Admin privileges in order to gain access to be able to work with the Temporary Contacts (as I went in and confirmed that their profile should have been able to edit the C&P Temporary Contacts field). I'm not sure what caused that to be the case and such a solution likely will not work for your environment but I thought it might be worth sharing.

Also, I should add that this seems to be affecting other users. Currently, it seems like my account is the only one able to move records out of TC.

Sorry for the delay. I was out for the holidays. You should have received and email to verify the change of the email address. Please let me know if there is anything else that you need me to do.

    Good day @AndyB,

We have reviewed & all seem to be OK. The only way we can check further is if we login as that person and review the error. There is a permission issue and without seeing the specific error in the log file it is hard to determine what is going on.

Please change the email address of the user to [email protected] so we can login as the person. Once logged in we can make changes as the admin and check the issue with the user.

    Good day!

Please grant us login access and the Salesforce Organization so we can review the permissions. It will be helpful to also know the UserID of the person that has the issue.

    Temporary Contact Insufficient Privileges

I have at least one user that is having issues updating a Registered Attendee who has been labeled as a temporary contact. Other temporary contacts were not an issue. I have tried added the user to the PS-CnP-Event-All-Permissions, PS-CnP-IaaS-All-Permissions, PS-CnP-PaaS-All-Permissions and PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact permission sets yet the Insufficient Privileges page stills comes up when the user clicks the check temp contact link. How do I resolve this so that the user has full abilities to manage temporary contacts?
