    Hi there.

    Can you please check our post-install for the Event Management app and check the live event we have created. We tried to distribute the link, but guests cannot access/the link is not working?

    Thank you for granting login access. We reviewed your instance and didn’t find any issues either with post installation steps of the site (events) or with live event link (https://bluestarfam.secure.force.com...0000000TS4lAAG). May I know the browser and their respective version numbers in which your guests are unable to access the Event Link?
    If you allow us, we will make a test registration to check the registrant’s creation. Can we proceed?

      Hello!

      So it appears that the issue was a Department of Defense employee trying to access the link through DoD email. Very strict firewall. If you wouldn't mind, could you please still test the event for us? The link worked once outside of the DoD email server.

      Also, is there a way to turn off the invoices coming to me every time someone registers for the event? As well, we were hoping for automated ticket send...I think I have this turned on correctly. Will you check that as well?

        Good day!

        DOD emails block linking on emails. Please ask your user to copy and paste the link in their browser and see if they still have problems.

        Highly secure facilities reroute the links on emails and may change the URL resulting in the site to return error.

        Please make sure the user copies the URL in the browser and see if there are any issues with viewing the event and let us know.

          Thank you for the support! That was the issue (DOD firewall). We have advised registrants to use it in a browser via copy/paste if they access from DOD email.

          Also, is there a way to turn off the receipts coming to me every time someone registers? Thank you for the assistance!

            Good day!

            Glad to see all worked out.

            Organization always gets a copy of the receipt and we don't have provision for you to disable it. It is truly a matter of you being aware of what is going on and be able to audit what is being processed.

            I will add this to a feature request and add it in a future release.
