    Good day!

We have reviewed your instance & determined that you are using the Territory Management:

Currently we are not supporting territory management and being enabled will result in permission mismatch with the contact creation by our application.

Do you have to use the Territory Management? If not please disable it and all should work.

We are investigating the mismatch and will resolve this in release 10 due out in 2016.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, Support Engineer. Appreciate you looking into it. Yes- we use Territory Mgmnt.- not optional for our Org. I assume I can work around this manually? I'll give it a try.

        Good day!

We have been working with SF support for over a month to resolve this issue. The problem is a field in the Opportunity record that is enabled when Territory Management is active. While that field is not mandatory and not related to us opportunity creation fails for no reason. We do not know if this is our issue or a Salesforce issue and Salesforce has been investigating it since November 20.

We will keep you updated of our progress and hopefully we can resolve it when we have a solution from Salesforce.

Sorry for the inconvenience. In an eco-system like Salesforce app interactions, at times, get quite tricky.
