When someone signs up for an event in click and pledge for a family of 4, the payments come through to salesforce as 4 separate payments. Is there a way to get the payments to merge as one under the main registrant? for example someone just signed up for herself, husband and 2 kids - total of $84 but on her page it has $24, $24, $18, $18 all separate payments.

Good day!
I am sure you are referring to Opportunities as "payment". Opportunity is designed to be items and that is how it has been designed in our system. Each registration is a ticket and a registration and as such it is itemized so it can be tracked.
We have come up with a feature in release 10, due out next year, where you may set the opportunity to follow SKU's. In that design you may set a family of SKU's to merge together as one while others stay independent. For example in event you may want the sponsorship to be a single opportunity and each level be combined into one opportunity, etc.
For now the only way to combine opportunities is to use Opportunity > Product but that is a more fundamental decision since it may affect your entire process. It is not recommended to switch to Opportunity > Product just for this reason.
Sorry that I cannot be of more help. Next year with the new feature you will be able to do what you want.Regards,

Has the feature been added since this post to allow the combination of all opportunities under one registration to be combined? The goal would be for all attendees under a registration to be added as a campaign members of the campaign associated with the event, and a single opportunity, representing the full payment by the main registrant, to be added to that same campaign representing the full payment.
