  • New Event - What you see isn't what you get?

I've created a new event which looks fine in Active Events/Additional Information/Event Description where I created it. When I click on Preview, though, all of my text is now in bold even though I just made a few words bold. It shows this same way after being iframed into our website. Since I don't want to appear to be shouting everything, how do I get back to where what I create in the Event Description is what I see in the Preview and on my website? Here's my Event: https://sefaa.secure.force.com/Programs/CnP_PaaS_EVT__ExternalRegistrationPage?event_id=a0 ud00000034P1j

    Thanks for your help.

    Good day!

When I visit the link you sent I see: No event found.

Are you sure the link is correct?

              Good day!

You had everything wrapped around <h1></h1> tag which means Heading 1.

We removed the tag and it now works.

If you want to track the little issues like this you may want to click on the SCRIPT button and view the HTML. The HTML is what is being shown.

Thank you very much! I will check the code next time for sure. I'm not good with html, but I can probably spot things like the Heading tags you found.

I really appreciate your help and your responsiveness.

There is an inherent problem with all these HTML editors. If you type something in the editor and format it the HTML generated will work but if you delete something and even if you delete everything in the editor you may not delete all the HTML code. At times HTML tags remain behind the scene.

I always click on the editor and review the HTML to make sure all has been deleted.

The editor we use is the most advanced and complete editor but unfortunately it has this shortcoming which they all do.

Just something to keep in mind.
