  • Anonymous Events, Registered Attendees & Event Checkin/Checkout

The business stakeholder would like to build a report in Salesforce that shows attendees of an event AND their preferred mailing address (which is on their Contact record); it should include Check-in Status too. We set some Events to Anonymous signifying a free event and these are not being included in the custom report type we've built using Contact, C&P Event Registered Attendees and C&P Event Check-in and Check-out objects, and there is no standard C&P report which includes preferred mailing address. So far, the C&P help webinar sessions have not provided any viable options or alternatives. Does anyone have any thoughts?

    Good day!

We are adding this to the next update due out before the end of the month- hopefully by next week (week of August 11, 2014) if testing is complete.

The version will be 3.0001 beta and will be available for download in the beta section.

Hi. Can you please provide an update as to when this fix will be available? Can we download the beta version to our Salesforce sandbox (before we download it to our Production instance)?

        Good day!

We are still testing this and are not ready to release. This feature has already been added but testing is taking longer than expected to an issue with our package release issues. Salesforce generates error with we try to release our package. We are stuck as Salesforce R&D is trying to resolve the issue. We have been going back & forth for a week.

Sorry for the delay but as soon as Salesforce releases the package we will be able to release ours. We have had a number of issues with the latest Salesforce release and they are resolving them as we are told.

Here is the [email protected] response. Unfortunately, it didn't get posted to forum and came into the desk.

            Good day!

The update has not yet been released. It is the first part of a major release and testing of all features is taking longer than expected. The release is still under test.

We will post the release in the News section so you may want to subscribe to it.
