  • Imported Events not available from Event Management console

Events are visible in Event object but not visible in Event Management Console. Which fields are required for import from Production to Sandbox or in general for event creation and display in the Event Management console? I worked with Kamran yesterday and we were able to display these imported events in Production by adding a template to each record. Now, the names appear under archived events but on selection of any receives the following error: Attempt to de-reference a null object
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (CnP_PaaS_EVT)

I created a sandbox to install and test v4 and imported the records. They again appear as records in the event object but do not render on the Event Management console. I created a template and associated it to one record. Now, I receive that same error message attempting to display events.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Good day!

Do you still have this problem? This issue was addressed during the office hour and a solution was jointly found.

Please let us know if we need to still address this question.

Yes, the problem still exists. As I mentioned in the post, we solved how to make the imported events visible in the Event Management list. Having never clicked on one, it was unknown that the error message would be the only thing rendered. It makes me feel that there is another field that is required. Can you pass the list of required fields and I can possibly resolve the issue. I've granted access if you'd like to take a look at OrgID:

          Good day!

Sorry for the delay- as explained before the lead developer for the event application has to review this and the team is heavily involved with the upcoming release. This case is totally out of scope of our app but we will help as much as we can.

          The following fields are missing:
          • No contact fields are assigned to the form.
          • Event has no start or end date for the levels
          • Level names are also not defined.
Unless we start populating these fields manually we cannot figure out what you have imported manually into these objects. Please let us know if updating these fields closes the gap in any way.
