      Good day!

We have not forgotten this post as it is still under review.

This is what we have found out so far and we are working with Salesforce to figure out why your instance is behaving this way.

The issue is with NPSP triggers generating error when the number of attendees is more than 10. In our instance this works without any issues but in your instance if we disable all NPSP triggers it will work without a problem but when we activate the triggers the opportunity & contact creation generates error.

Sorry for the delay but we are trying to work with Salesforce to find the root cause of the issue. Will update this once we have an answer. A strange case indeed.

Also, at 4pm today PST I found two of our events, both on 11/18 in the recycle bin. I restored both. Both of them had registrants. How did that happen?

              Good day!

We never ever delete events or anything from a client instance. That would be suicidal.

Based on our review of your instance & the Salesforce support the NPSP 3 has changed its batch update calls and as such is using all the resources that were available before. We are making a change in our code to use more cycles. We are currently testing this to make sure it works with large number of registrations. It is a bit strange that the NPSP 3.x has changed the way it handles the process.. quite strange.

The update will be included in the 4.x release and is currently under test.

That's great. Thanks. I'm not saying you deleted them- I'm asking, how is it possible that they were deleted? Both the events had registrants, so how could a user delete them?

                  Good day!

The C&P Event does not allow for deletion of an event when a registrant is present, meaning with a single registration for the event, the event cannot be deleted.

The only way to delete an event is through the Salesforce standard pages. Did you see the User that had deleted it? typically the user that was logged in when the record was deleted is displayed in the recycle bin. This must have been deleted through the standard layout pages.

                    Good day!

We finally received word from Salesforce regarding this issue. NPSP has increased it use of resources and as such we have to also increase ours.

We have resolved this in the latest beta that was released today. Today's beta is really close to the final release and may actually be the one that will be released next Wednesday. Our team is actively testing the releases today and over the weekend preparing for the final release next week.

Please let us know if you wish to be upgraded next week and we will take care of it for you.
