Capturing event guests of sponsors at registration time

I'm thinking most fundraising events which sell tickets at different sponsorship levels, which get a sponsor more than one ticket, would like to capture the names and emails of guests of that sponsor. If I make my registration page with the sponsor levels listed, and say a certain level gets them a table of 10, the person buying the sponsorship must be able to list all his guests and their emails right then when he buys the sponsorship. I doubt if any sponsor ever knew all his guests and their emails when he purchases the sponsorship! If it is required, it might drive him away from registering. Is there a way to add the capability for a purchaser to come back at a later time and input the names of his guests and their emails OR have the event organizer be able to enter the names of the sponsor guests. Event organizers eventually get most guest names anyway. Sure would be nice if they could be entered any time before the event so they would show up in SF, maybe as leads (since we don't know if they are donors yet.) and we could convert them to contacts at a later time. Don't know if this made sense or if it is possible, but I ran into it when I was trying to make a golf tournament event registration page (golfers don't usually know their whole foursome when they sign up) and so had to use a different kind of page, and now I'm getting ready to need a dinner/auction type of fundraiser page and suspect will run into the same problem. Anyone else have any suggestions on this?

Sorry but at this time this is not a feature of the platform. It is in the road-map but not currently available.

At this time all information has to be entered at the registration time.

OK. So would it work to just put in 1 registration for each sponsor level, even if they get 10 tickets, then ask a custom question of "Please list your 10 guests with their emails here."

That will work. The attendees will not be created as contact which should be expected.
