get "Authorization Required" message when try to view new Event page

I've just installed Event Management and created my first event. When i clicked "View" I got the force.com message screen telling me "Authorization required..." I saw from other posts that this is probably caused by a problem in my install steps. I did try to follow the post-installation steps. However, when I started the install, i got a message that the install was taking a long time and that i would get an email when it was complete. After i got the email i went back into SF to set the API Access. The list of Extended Object Permissions was much longer than the list shown in the post-install instructions. I checked everything that was checked in the instructions, except "Account" which did not appear in the list on my SF instance. I also could not find a place to select security settings, although I answered a similar question during the install process and granted access to all users. I have given C&P login access on my Salesforce instance - the organization id is 00Do0000000I5vE

There is a lot of post-installation steps that need to be followed before proper permissions are set up for the guest user to be able to see the events or any site page.

I have the same issue. Also, my events automatically go to a www. url, which says the website is unavailable. If I take our the www, it says "Authorization is required". If I go to freedom house.secure.force.com, it says the site is under construction. Our org ID is: 00Do0000000HxkE. I have granted access.

I have requested a complete review of your post-installation. For now we have fixed the issue. The problem was you did not have the right permission set assigned to the site guest user.

Thank you for the help with this. There is still an issue with any links in the event. Receipt and registration receipts all go to www. For example, to download an eticket PDF it goes to: https://www.freedomhouse.secure.forc...icketid=Ticket

We reviewed and noticed that you have added www into the URL but it is not there in your site URL. We have removed that and it has been fixed the issue.
