Temp Contact Error

  • Temp Contact Error

    We were testing our registration pages and I deleted all the tests but the fake contacts are still sitting in the temporary contacts. When I try to click on it to delete it I get an error. I would like to clean this up as we have real registrations rolling in.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    Go to C&P Event Management Tab
    Click active events choose
    2014 Austin Conference or Lead Presenter Conference Registration
    Click Registrations
    Click Manage Temporary Contacts
    Try to click on any of the ones in attendee details that look made up
    Receive above error message

      Good day!

      We upgraded your instance and performed all the post-installation steps. We have also increased your External-ID by contacting Salesforce.

      Please login to your account and review the C&P Settings to make sure all are matching your requirements. There are a few new features and it is always best to review and save the settings after each upgrade.

        In our 2014 Lead Presenter Conference Registration I am again getting the error message for temporary contact that I have deleted from the system.

          Good day Allison,

          The issue has been fixed in your instance. Please test it.

          You had deleted the C&P Event Attendee but not the temporary record. We Deleted the temporary record associated with that registration.
