Event - Provide access or promo code to sell tickets even when sold out

We are migrating from Eventbrite for our monthly event. In EB we can create an inventory of tickets that is only accessible with an access or promo code. Even when an event is "sold out" we can essentially have tickets that are only accessible with this code. Is there a way we can replicate this functionality with C&P Event Management?
