Entering complimentary tickets through box office

Typically people create a 100% coupon code and apply it in the box office. The coupon codes are used for internal use only.

No the tickets cost money, but we want to be able to offer free tickets to a few people by entering them through the box office.

It is my understanding that I can enter complimentary tickets through the box office, but I couldn't figure out how. I want the tickets to be at the levels I've specified but require not payment.
