    Hello,

    1) I checked and the ‘Event Site’ field has been given access.

    2) I went through the post installation steps again and even made sure to go through all of the custom objects created by C&P to make sure the appropriate fields were check off. I still cannot find what the problem is.

This was an isolated problem for one department but I am now going to on board another entire department on Monday that needs to use this feature but this problem is still not solved. What can I do to resolve this?

    Best,
    Sonal

    Good Day Sonal,

    1) The issue is you haven’t given the access to the ‘Event Site’ field at ‘C&P Event’ object under ‘Custom Field-Level Security’ for those profiles. So, please make sure about that field in other profiles.

    2) It is completely a post installation issue. Please do the post installation steps specified in below link to both the profiles:

    Hope it answers your question.

    Thanks,
    Support Team.

    Hi VRavindra,

Thank you for fixing that error! Do you mind letting me know what the issue was so I can trouble shoot it for any other profiles that may have the issue in the future?

I went into both the Development and Communications Profiles and found that while you have fixed the error message and they now have the option to Create a New Event, they are missing some of the required fields in order to click Save at the bottom.

Attached are two images - one that shows the error and the other that shows where the fields are missing on the page.

    Good day!

You have a number of profiles. Which profile do you wish to have set up with this access? Seems like each profile has a different permission set.

    Hi Sonal,

Please grant us access to your account and the profile that has issue so we can review your setting. This is not something we can troubleshoot in real time as it requires possibly different people looking at what may cause the problem.

    How to grant access: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/showthread.php?t=1065
Please make sure to post your organization name & the Salesforce Organization ID so we know how to locate your instance.

    Hello!

Thank you for your response! I've checked the "View All Data" box and extended permissions to all C&P related objects to Read, Delete, and Create but I am still getting this error: Click image for larger version

I am using the profile of iMentor Development - NEW but I get this error for all profiles other than System Admin.

    Good day!

We reviewed your instance and you have 16 profiles that are defined. Which profile is having this issue?

You can fix this easily be granting "View All Data" to the profile you wish to perform that action. The "View All Data" is required for access to the Organization object.

Once the above has been granted please extend the permission to the related objects of Event (READ, DELETE, CREATE, etc.)

We did not want to change permission for all profiles. If you want us to do this for you please let us know which profiles you wish to have this permission set extended to.

    Good day!

This error means you have not given View All Data permission to the user.

We will review and let you know.

  • Non-admin users cannot create new events in Events Management

    Hello,

Some users are having trouble creating new events in C&P. They get the two errors when they 1) login into the system and 2) click "create new event" (see attached).

This must be a permissions error but I cannot find where this error is occuring.

My Org ID is 00D300000006WoJ. Thank you!
