After installing the new version of the Event Management - the attendees that did not "Register" or pay - are not getting an opportunity created. They use to, and I use it for further processing. Is there something that needs to be changed to get the opportunities back?

Good day!
Nothing has changed- is your account connected?
Please go to the portal (https://portal.clickandpledge.com) and re-establish connection. You may have lost connection.
Once connection has been established you can post the data back to Salesforce. We can review it for you but we do not have access.
Please grant us login access and we can review it for you.Regards,

The opportunities for the attendees that paid are coming across find, so I think I am connected.
I have given click&pledge 3 day access.
Please see Zac David as an example of no opportunity for an attendee coming through.
I have noticed another problem - the opportunities coming through now do not have the payment or amounts. please see Carolina Ashe, orMicheal Dernetz

Good day!
May I ask what is the Salesforce Organization ID?
Your profile shows account name as: Savannah Riverkeeper and in Salesforce we see the Organization ID as: 00D1a000000YOK6 but we do not have access to this account - no login access.
Please confirm.

Zac David is his name. He attended the "SRK Big Float" event in Event Management. The Event is over - so go to All Events, Go to the Registrations (click 2 times to get to lists) - go to Attendees - go to the last attendee. That is Zac David.
The Order Number is: 1508281945290091008 C&P Data: Transaction-0686
Jason Tuckett is the Registrant Name under Jason the Opportunity is: "MemberJason Tuckett2015/08/28" - here we do not have the amount of the transaction nor the payment recorded.
Jason paid for Zac David: with the same order number C&P Data: Transaction-0686
Jason also Paid for Gloria Escalante who has the same problem as Zac - no opportunity created.
If you go into Salesforce you can see that Zac David

Good day!
We reviewed your setting and noticed that you have set up Opportunity > Products.
In the presence of that setting only ONE opportunity will be set up for the entire transaction and each item will be set up as a product. The Opportunity name will be set up as the Order Number & all items will be products under that single opportunity.
With this setting if you have 5 items in the basket / registration you will see only one opportunity and 5 products under that opportunity. Opportunity > Product is a special Salesforce feature using products in the Salesforce environment.
Any reason why you are using Opportunity > Products? Most organizations do not use this feature of Salesforce.
I hope that answers your question.Regards,

Why were the attendee's getting opportunities before the update - if this was the process before the update? I have had the product feature clicked for months. When setting up the system - I set up the product feature (which is a lot of extra work if not needed) because I did not have information that it would cause the system to only have one opportunity. Is there an area that gives the pros and cons of turing on this feature? What will happen if I turn it off? What will the levels look like in Salesforce?
MAJOR PROBLEM: Why aren't the payments coming through on the one opportunity that is created? It has a blank amount and no payment - but in the C&P transaction for Jason above - the amount charged and paid was $93. Why isn't it coming over to Salesforce?

Good day!
Someone has changed the setting. Our update does not change the setting - that would be disaster and would have major consequences for all clients.
All is in Salesforce but you are set for Opportunity > Products. If you are not using Products please uncheck that box.
Opportunity > Products is a feature of Salesforce and is designed for clients using Products & Price Sheets. If you are not familiar with products then you don't need to worry about it. It is a major feature that has major consequences as you are observing.
Are you using Products in Salesforce? You may want to read Salesforce documents: https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTV...oducts_add.htm

Thank you, that is the same answer from before - ok I get the product feature but I still need an answer about payments and amounts not coming over to Salesforce - or do I need to open a new question area?:

Good day!
Payments are a setting of the NPSP. NPSP creates the payment for each opportunity.
You may want to discuss this on the Salesforce HUB as to why NPSP is not creating the Payments. I wonder if NPSP blocks Opportunity > Products.
Payments is outside the scope of what the C&P app does. We simply create the opportunity based on the preferences in the settings and NPSP will do its work per its setting. We do not interfere with NPSP's actions.
Hope that answers your question.Regards,

No because the amounts and payments were coming over before updating.
I do not know what has changed - but I have been spending days trying to figure out what is different between the before and after update - and seem to be getting a dead end here. Is there someone I can talk to - since my whole system is blowing up and I can not seem to get this to work anymore.

Good day!
Please see below:
If an opportunity is an Opportunity > Product the opportunity name will be a number (order number). Please see the above listing of all your opportunities.
Please see order #: 150803195624377
I am just trying to resolve your issue but all evidence points to the options selected.
We will post the question to the HUB to see if others can shed some light on how NPSP behaves with products.
