  • Error with Class Library Upgrade and Event Management Upgrade

This morning I upgraded the Class Library and PaaS packages to the latest version but held off upgrading the Event Management until after an upcoming event.

When I went to access Event management this afternoon, I saw the attached error message taking up the frame of the tab. Figuring this was related the differing versions of the packages, I went to upgrade the Event package as well and received the error message below:

    1. This app can't be upgraded.
Salesforce has blocked this package upgrade because the new package version removes some Apex code that one or more Visualforce pages or global Visualforce components need in order to function. Please contact your partner with this error information. Provide these component names to your partner. Visualforce Pages: CreateEventPage, CreateAnEventPage, CreateCustomFields, ContactEdit, ContactInfoFields, Discount_page_2, Discountplan, AuthenticateMobile, Attendeepage_2, ArchievedEventpage, EventRegistration_5, EventRegistration_ThankYou, Revreg_level_2, EventRegistration_1, EventRegistration_2, TemperoryGridTables, EventRegistration_3, EventRegistration_4, TicketSendingButton, TicketSendingButtonRegistrant, UpcomingEventpage, Event_category, UploadCSVDiscounts, Event_category_2, TicketDesign, EventLayout, EventLayoutview, EventDesignsTable, Revreg, EventListingRedirect, EventRegistration_0, Revreg_Event_2, Revreg1, EventRegistrationLayout, EventListing, EventListPage, Reportpage, EventListingPreview, Reglevel, AttendeeTemplates, RegistrationEngine, Registrantpage_edit_2, RegistrantTemplates, Registrantpage_2, RegistrationLevels, NameBadgeSendingButtonRegistrant, levelattendee_2, OrderCustomFields, NameBadgeSendingButton, getattendee, PdfDisplay, Registrantpage, ticketPrint, OrderRegistrationLevel, updaterecordscount, downlaodregistrant, Eventattendeedownload_2, downlaodregistrant_2, Eventmanualregistration, Eventattendee, boxofficepage, Eventattendee_2, eventdownload, eventlistingview, download, Eventmanualregistration_ThankYou, downloadlevelattendee_2, EventsDesignerView.

Could I have the Event package upgraded- and if that doesn't fix the earlier issue could you help me with that as well? Thanks.

    Good day!

The Event 3.x requires 2.6000.22 which I am sure you don't have since you are getting the installation problem. Please see the release notes: Event 3.1: http://cnp.mn/1OVLq46

We were pushing real hard to have all clients upgraded before the app was removed from the appExchange. No problem.. nothing to worry about.

Please grant us login access and we will login and install it for you. Here is how to grant login access: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/for...iew-user-setup

Once we have access we will upgrade you and make sure all post-installation steps are also done.

    Looking forward to the access!

We have upgraded you as requested.

Please make sure to review each event & the new "Registration Emails" tab in each event.

        Release notes:

In PaaS 9.1 you can now send SMS to contacts. You may want to read more about it: http://cnp.mn/1IXtLuA

If you have live events make sure to review the "Registration Emails" tab as the email to attendees & registrants will NOT be sent with this upgrade and need to be enabled in the "Registration Emails" tab. See: http://help.clickandpledge.com/customer/portal/articles/2078055-event-management-for-salesforce-registration-emails

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
