Issues with dropdown lists and registering on laptops, ipads,iphones?

I'm using the NPSP and have registration for an event that has a dropdown list for selecting a Table Captain. On iphones,ipads, and some laptops that dropdown lists don't have a side bar to scroll the list. Additionally, on the iphone, ipad, I cannot click to even add a registration. Is there a setting that I'm missing? Thank you for your thoughts.
