    Good day @Bill,

We found the issue and it was related to a permission in the permission set. We resolved this and updated our application on AppExchange and the C&P Settings > About C&P Apps.

We upgraded your instance to this release so your users should be able to edit, update, and delete the emails as needed.

Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Good day @Bill,

We have identified the problem and it is related to the emails that we create with the post-installation script. It seems like Salesforce does not use the user that is installing the app and is assigning the record to a non-existent user. Strange indeed.

For now I suggest that you create an email with your own use and disable the default one. This will work for all your users.

We are investigating the issue with Salesforce and may release another package to resolve this - for now we do not know what is causing this after post-installation. Please go ahead and create a new email and copy the content. This should work.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Bill,

we are asked a security question for pet's name. Any idea what we should answer? Considering we do not want to get into a social engineering hacking situation would you please temporarily change the answer to "blacksburg" and then change it back?

    We are unable to login.

    Good day @Bill,

I think the only way we can resolve this issue is to temporarily login as the user that has the issue. Is it possible for you to change the email address of the user to [email protected]. Once the email changes we will be able to login with a password and having the admin work back and forth to determine the permission that is missing.

Do you think you can do that for us? It is hard to resolve this problem any other way.

Sorry, adding Event All Permissions didn't work. I've now added all c&p permission sets to her ID just in case, and none help:
    Del 8/20/2015
    Del 8/20/2015

    Good day @Bill,

Please see the following permission set:

Name:	PermissionSets.jpg
Views:	24
Size:	75.8 KB
ID:	18594

These permission sets can help with various aspects of access to event features.

Please assign it to the user that has the issue and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

We also had updates recently and upgraded your instance to the latest release which will be in AppExchange.

Access has been granted, user is [email protected]
I've also added both permissions sets for events, neither helped

I also responded via email, that looks like it created a new ticket

    Good day @Bill,

Please grant us login access so we can review your permissions. We need to know the UserID that has the issue so we can review their profile.

  • What permissions needed to edit event registration email- getting Delete failed error

When our designer (non-admin) wanted to edit registraion email it threw this error:
Delete failed. First exception on row 0 with id a2PC0000000CmYHMA0; first error: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_OR_READONLY, insufficient access rights on object id: [] Error is in expression '{!SaveMail}' in component <apex:commandButton> in page cnp_paas_evt:registrationemail: (CnP_PaaS_EVT)
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (CnP_PaaS_EVT)

Obviously a permissions thing but I don't understand what I need to do, please advise
