Event object's Event Site field duplicated in 3.1 upgrade?

Hello. I upgraded a client to 3.1 recently. I noticed that the Event Site field is duplicated in the C&P Event object. One field an old version and generates a bad hyperlink.

This is confusing. Was this old field supposed to be deprecated? The old field API name is CnP_PaaS_EVT__Public_site__c. The new correct field is CnP_PaaS_EVT__Event_Site_2v__c.

The current version is: CnP_PaaS_EVT__Event_Site_2v__c

The release 1 link was CnP_PaaS_EVT__Public_site__c which is no longer being used. These fields are all in the list of deprecated fields to be removed in version 4. Testing of field removal is a time consuming task and one that was not finished by the release of 3.x

We will start public beta testing of release 4 next month and these fields will all be removed by then.
