Yes, through custom payment type, you cannot make the recurring transaction. You will need to use the real CC to test the recurring and later you may refund it.

Ah, I see that you processed the test transaction in Virtual Terminal. Please note that we don't support test cards in VT. However, you may process a transaction using the Custom Payment type in Salesforce VT to check the data flow in your instance. Custom Payment type method will be authorized the transaction without sending to BANK. There are no fees associated, as these transactions are not sent to the bank.

    Good day @bjadis

May I know the Event you are referring to is in Test Mode? Please note the test CC works only if the Event is in Test Mode. Please grant us login access and share the Event name so that we can review it.

I tested it as well and it works. Thankyou thankyou thankyou.I'm not sure where that account came from, but since I had never made any change after the initial installation, I assumed it was valid.

I also have a one active checkout easy page on our website for donations. Do I need to make any changes to that setup?

Why have you added the MID in the C&P accounts? I deleted it as that is wrong. The first entry you had is correct but the second should not be there.

It works now. Please test it.

The GUID that I had in C&P Settings is 39300981406969. Jackie Scott said she was told where to find that number earlier today and she found 567e7f45-d15a-47f3-ab16-f678d22598e2. Can you tell me which is correct and where I can find that number in Salesforce?

Have you tried a test transaction? I just did. Same declined message.

    Good day @Tim,

I highly recommend that you visit the release notes for 3.1 and see the new features. I will explain them below. Here is the release notes:

Release notes:The public site URL is now set up in the Default Settings in event. This feature was causing a lot of confusion with our clients and we decided to simply ask the URL in one place and have all events use it. The site needs to have the post-installation steps performed and clients kept thinking that for each event they have to create a new URL. The site URL is the base URL for all events and as such a single URL suffices for all things Click & Pledge. You may use the same site for event, invoices, images, etc. and as such we recommend naming it "default".

C&P GUID does not change with upgrades. Your GUID for Click & Pledge API is always the same. Which GUID are you referring to?

Thanks. Yes, please try some test transactions.

There is a co-worker of mine who has also posted about our problems, [email protected]. So you do not need to respond to her, just me will be best.

I noticed that after the C&P Event Management upgrade to v. 3.x that the Salesforce public url no longer shows anywhere in the event creation process. And the current C&P GUID is different than the one assigned when we first started with C&P.
