We are currently running Event Management Version 2.2002.

I noticed that there is a new Version available: 2.3009

Can you advise:

1. What are the changes in the new release
2. What are the specific upgrade steps to install the new release.

We always publish the changes in the News section and we strongly recommend all clients to subscribe to the "News & Announcements" forum.

The main issue resolved in the 2.3009 and the upcoming release is the viewstate error with large number of attendees. The registration page causes a viewstate limitation error with Salesforce when the number of attendees exceed 1000. The upcoming release scheduled by March 15 will have the entire section redesigned to accommodate more than 200K attendees (no limit based on our tests as of now). We are continuously working on ensuring that various Salesforce governor limit and viewstate limitations don't trigger when dealing with large events.

It is, as I said before, strongly recommended that our clients subscribe to that forum and receive notification when we release an update.

Good day!

Upgrading is easy- just follow the steps listed below:

• Click on Click & Pledge Settings tab
• Click on About C&P Apps
• Click on Synchronize
• If an update is available for each of the installed apps you will see a link for upgrade.
• Click on the Upgrade link and follow the steps

Using our About tab you don't need to login to the AppExchange several times. The upgrade link makes it all much easier.

please note that your screen will look different since my instance is the next release which will be released this week (Week of March 3, 2014).
