    The Custom Questions related list includes both question and answer. If you don't have the answer displayed please simply add the column to the related list as shown below - by editing the related list layout:

    Simply add the Answer to the layout and you should see the answers.

    Maybe I'm not being clear.

    You stated that the "information is saved as custom question and answers for the attendee." When I open the attendee information, all that is there are the questions -- not the answers.

    Good day Radha,

    The information is saved as custom question and answers for the attendee. You can't map them into other objects as it only stays as the Q & A as a related in the contact object.

    Soooooo, just to clarify.

    I am able to configure Attendee custom questions in Event Management and map them within C&P Settings to SF fields. And even though I can set this up, it doesn't actually work?

    And, if it doesn't work, is that data being collected and/or saved someplace? If it doesn't get saved in SF, is there a way I can access it with CnP tools?

    Good day!

    Please note several important points about Event & Salesforce in general.
    • Salesforce objects have a limit of 30K+ character limit and as such this limits what we can store with the C&P Data XML. We have to work around that limitation with every application.
    • C&P Data only has information for the person that is making the payment so payees are the ones that are being shown in the C&P Data. Mapping (as of this moment) only mapas what is in the C&P Data
    • Event Attendee information is saved directly into Salesforce and does not go through the mapping setting

    In reviewing your account we noticed that you have questions only for attendees and not the Payees. See below:

    as is evident from the above image your questions are all added to the attendee and the payee has no questions set for it. Since payee as no questions the answers cannot be possibly mapped.

    It is in the product roadmap to add the mapping for event attendees.

    I've already processed the temp contacts, so that does not appear to be the issue. What else can you suggest?

    Radha,

    Please make sure that your registrants are not in the Temporary Contact or Attendee list. If they are not yet converted to full contacts the Transaction & Custom Questions will not map.

    Click on Registrants and make sure they are not in the Temp.

    Custom Questions

    We've set up a series of custom questions in a newly created event. We've attempted to map those fields in CnP Settings. Unfortunately, when we do test registrations, none of that data appears in Salesforce.

    Please advise.
