Event Template not updating

  • Event Template not updating

    When I create a new event template and choose it as the "Select template for this Event", then save and view, I see the template I originally used when I set the Event up. I know I must be missing something simple. I'd appreciate any help anyone has. Thank you.

    Hi Tami,

    Before we start asking and reviewing more complex debugging issues may I ask if you have checked this with other browsers?

    I am just wondering if the issue is a cache issue.

      Originally using Firefox. Just tried IE and Chrome. When I save, it shows me the original template with the "view" link, within that browser. If I close the browser and reopen it, I'm still stuck on the original - and can't change it. But if I view in a DIFFERENT browser it shows correctly with the save I did in the previous browser. But then WITHIN that different browser, if I change the template and save, the view doesn't change.

          Good day!

          No need for us to login - you just told us all we need to know.

          Please clear your browser cache and try with each change. The design is cached to speed the delivery. If other browsers are showing you the right version it says that the site has changed but the browser is showing its own cached version.

          In all browsers you can easily delete your cache through the settings or in some you can do Control + F5.

          Please try it and let us know.

            So I have to clear the cache (ctrl F5 doesn't work on my machine) to see every change I make to the template? But, thank you, that did solve the viewing problem, just not the editing problem. I appreciate the support.
