I cannot scroll left-to-right, move, or resize this page on any mobile device. Is that the case with all 2.0 checkout pages?

Good day!
We just finished our test using an iPad and Android tablets and both work without any issues.
Scrolling is really not a matter of the design since we are not (and have no way of doing so) removing the scroll bar.
May I ask what mobile device you are using?Regards,

I also just tested this on a brand new nexus 7 tablet and it does not work. you cannot see the entire page making it impossible to register, and you cannot move the page with your finger to try and get to different parts of the page. Your immediate attention to this issue would be much appreciated. I had a scheduled call with Brady Martin today but he never called which is making things very difficult for me. Please try the link I provided on an iphone and you will see what I mean.

Here is my screenshot from my android phone:
The problem is that you are unable to access any other parts of the page. I can scroll up and down but I am unable to scroll left and right. I am using one of your standard templates for this and I have tested other standard templates only to achieve the same result. Please try it on a phone and I'm sure you will also get the same result. Please hurry. We are losing money by the second.

Good day!
I now see what you are referring to.
Here is the challenge!
the registration form is responsive but the page that is designed through the Designer cannot possibly be made responsive by "us" since that is an open designer and one can design anything one wants. Our clients design pages based on an open editor and that editor cannot change, by itself, the design copied in it. The editor is a WYSIWYG editor and totally open to whatever you put in it.
For mobile phones you may want to simply use the registration form link and not the page design. In a tablet, the real estate is wide enough to accommodate your design but on a mobile phone the Google map, etc. in that format does not comply with a responsive design.
The registration form with named information and custom question is quite an elaborate form and frankly I find it too difficult to complete such forms on my Galaxy S4 phone with its large display. Too much typing with a small keyboard.
Please let me know if we can be of any further assistance.Regards,

Good day!
In reference to your question about a Nexus 7 tablet. We have the tablet and will test it and let you know what we find out.
I have requested one of our designers to work with the templates and see if we can force the editor to be responsive. The editor is a Salesforce editor and as such our options are quite limited.Regards,

Good day!
We need to come up with a solution that you can use for this. Currently the registration form is a single link that is used for the entire event.
In this case we have to come up with a different URL for the registration form only. At this time this is not directly available.
I am working with the development team to come up with a solution. The team is trying to figure out how best to offer this link. I don't have an answer yet.
Sorry for the inconvenience.Regards,

This is what I have been told: I was encouraged by click and pledge to move to Events 2.0 to fix problems occurring with the Safari browser. I spent an entire week making the transition to Events 2.0. Events 2.0 does not work in Internet Explorer 9 or below, and does not work AT ALL on mobile phones and most tablets. This feels like very sloppy work and it is causing our company to lose money by the minute.

Good day!
IE 8 is not supported by Salesforce and is not responsive so IE 8 is no longer supported. Microsoft will soon stop supporting windows XP and as such there is no point in us wasting time with a browser that does not support any of the new methods. As for mobile - we have limitations again with Salesforce and the entire platform is extremely intertwined.
The system works with large tablets but small tablets have issues with Chrome but work with Firefox.
Please think about the extent of your test and what you are seeing- you want a very extensive registration form that allows for unlimited number of custom questions, etc. to work with a small screen iOS and mobile phone. The editor in Salesforce does not offer responsive output and we are working to come up with a work around but there are limitations.
You may think we are sloppy but we have spent a lot of time on testing this platform on desktops and desktop browsers. Mobile is secondary for event since the complexity of its interface does not play well with a small keyboard. I am truly not sure why you think you are losing business because someone can't register with iPhone 4? Can they not use their desktop? I am not coming up with excuses as we take every issue personal and work hard to resolve them but there are limitations on what we can and cannot do in Salesforce. We cannot also possibly support every single browser on every single platform. On mobile phones every manufacturer has a different browser and a different version.
As stated we are working on coming with with work around for the form on an iOS device. In the meantime people may register using modern browsers on modern desktop computers.
We will keep you updated on our progress.Regards,

I do appreciate all the work that you do. However, nothing you have just said negates my previous statement:
Events 2.0 does not work in Internet Explorer 9 or below, and does not work AT ALL on mobile phones and most tablets.
Is it unfair of me to describe the release as sloppy when the above statement is true? Should there not have been testing on this first? Should customers have been alerted to these facts before they were pushed to implement? Our company is in Seattle, a place where people use their tablets and phones to make purchases. We are losing money simply be taking calls and manually registering folks who would normally use their tablet or Internet Explorer to register. It is disappointing that you are not taking responsibility for these mistakes.
