We just had someone try to register for an event using both a Mac computer and an Ipad. In both cases, once they entered they hit next after reviewing their summary information, they were taken somewhere other than the payment screen. I had to input their registration manually. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it? I don't have access to a Mac to try to figure it out.

Good day!
This is strange.. may I ask what you mean by "somewhere other than the payment screen"? Where is this "somewhere"?
Did they get an error?Regards,

I believe they went back to the Opening Page, but I don't know for sure. I was on the phone with her and we were walking through the registration process together. We both clicked next after checking the summary information and ended up in different places. Since she's 100+ miles away I couldn't see exactly where she ended up but it sounded like the Opening Page from her description. All worked well on my end and I ended up at the Payment screen. The only difference between us is that I have a PC and she has a Mac.

Good day @SEFAA:
The scenario you described happens if the session times out - meaning the page stayed open for a while & Salesforce timed out the session so it goes back to the start.
Has this happened repeatedly or did it happen the first time she has tried it? Was the page open a for a while before she registered?Regards,

I believe it happened to her a couple of times. She tried to register and couldn't get to the payment screen so she called me. I verified that things were working for on my computer, then called her back and suggested that she try again and to call if she ran into any trouble. She got to the summary screen and called to make sure she was doing things correctly. It took me a couple of minutes to get to the same screen she was at (by entering my own data) and then we both hit next to move to the payment screen. I got there but she didn't. It might have been 5 minutes between when she started and when she hit next, but probably no longer than that.

Good day!
I will have our testing team test the system using a Mac. Do you know what browser was being used?
We test the application using PC's and Mac's with all available browsers on each platform. Would you please provide the link to your event registration so we can test it.Regards,

Thank you! Here's the link: https://sefaa.secure.force.com/Progr...1_Opening_Page. I don't know what browser she was using but will find out.

Thank you.
It would be a great help if she can do a quick test with Chrome and see if it is working OK. I am just curious if the browser is the issue or the platform.
I understand if we don't want to bother the patron more than we have already.. but my personal love for Safari is only topped by my passion for IE - the 2 companies that should be forbidden from developing browsers as they love standards as long as it is theirs.
We will test Safari with your site and let you know.Regards,

Thanks, belatedly, for testing this out. While your test indicates there is no problem, we are still having registration issues. We created a new event yesterday (https://sefaa.secure.force.com/Progr...1_Opening_Page) and 3 different people running Macs have not been able to access the Billing Information Page. They hit Pay Now at the bottom of the registration summary and get sent back to the opening screen (see image) instead of the billing information screen.
This morning I walked through the process on the phone with a Mac user - all worked fine on her desktop computer which uses Firefox but she couldn't get to the billing info screen from her iPad which is running Safari. I don't know the details of all of the browsers being used, but two that didn't work earlier are Mobile Safari 6 on iPad (IOS 6.1) and Safari 6 on Mac OS X (Mountain Lion) and the one that didn't work this morning is the latest version of Safari and operating system 7. something or other. It seems to me to be a Safari issue, rather than a Mac issue.
Help! I now have 3 frustrated customers!
