  • State field on payment page is not a drop down with a list of 2-letter state codes

    Hi,

    We have installed version 1.1006 of Click & Pledge Events package. On the payment page, I see that the state field is just a text box and not a drop-down list of all state codes. I believe this was supposed to have been fixed in version 1.1000 so why are we not seeing the list of states? Are there any settings that we need to change?

    Good day @ArchanaP:

    The latest release is 1.2022 so you are using an older version. So please update to the latest release.

    The State / Country picklist is not automatic and requires the country & state synchronization be enabled. Please go to C&P Settings and click on Country & State Synchronization tab as shown below:

      Hi,

      Sorry to bother you again. After upgrading to the latest version, I now see the list of countries and states, but even though I selected the abbreviation option in the settings for both countries and states, I still see the full names on the payment page. Any suggestions about what the problem might be?

        What do you mean by full payment in the "payment page"?

        What payment page?

        The country & state will be used for new Contact address as posts to Salesforce. It does not change the forms.

        Please elaborate as to what you mean by the "Payment Page".

          Thanks for the clarification. I had misunderstood the countries and states setting and thought it would display the abbreviations on the forms. I understand now that the abbreviations will be used in the address posted to contact records in Salesforce.
