A user received the following error message when trying to process Temporary Contacts for an Event:

Delete failed. First exception on row 0 with id a1CA000000Yg4DeMAJ; first error: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_OR_READONLY, insufficient access rights on object id: []

I'm guessing this has something to do with her Profile/permissions, but she has full permissions to the C&P objects as well as Contacts and Accounts.

I'm having trouble decoding the error... can someone help? (I have asked her for a screenshot to see if there is actually an object id given at the end within the brackets)

    Thanks

    Celia

    Celia,

This definitely is related to the profile permission. The user does not have permission to create contacts.

If you want we can review her setting but we need access.

A good test is to elevate her permission and test the feature.

Let me know if we can be of any assistance.

      Hello,

Thank you for your response. I think I found the issue - she had Read Only permission to Products. (Contacts were not the issue - she has CRUD permissions on Contacts)

      thank you

      Celia

It seems I spoke too soon! She is still getting the error. I have given access to C&P Support:

        Org ID: 00DA0000000InEE
        User having error: Alicia Bekeny
        Profile: CDCP User

        Thank you

I just want to make sure someone saw this... or should I open a ticket with support?

          Thank you

            Celia,

Yes we are reviewing the case. This user does not have a lot of permissions.

One of our developers has been assigned to this case and will review it.

              Good day @Celia:

It appears that we are granted access through a user that does not have admin rights. The user has CDCP Profile and we can't see what permissions are missing.

It is purely a permission issue and we have to figure out what other permissions he/she needs. Please grant us admin rights so we can move around and test the account.

                Hello,

I have granted access through the username: [email protected], which has System Admin profile. The user I referred to is the one who was receiving error messages.

                Thank you

                Celia

                      Good day @Celia:

We have given modify all permission to the user for the C&P Event Temporary Contacts. Please test the user & let us know if it is working now. Unfortunately we don't have login access as that user to test the changes.

If you are still having problem please let us know so we can arrange for logging in as that user for testing and making changes at the same time as an admin. The challenge is we can't login as that user as stated earlier.
                      Regards,

Thank you - I asked the user to try again, and she was able to process Event Temporary Contacts this time.

I appreciate your help with this issue.
