Good day Archana,
Event Opportunity Names are based on: Event Level - Attendee name combination. You may change the name if you set up an SKU for the Level and then change the name as you wish.
Please NOTE: Attendee name is not a field available for Opportunity name customization. Only the Payee (Registrant) name is available since the name is what appears as the person that has made the payment. If you customize the name based on SKU you may include any text and the attendee name as well as date or campaign.
Hope that answers your question.

Thank you for your quick response.
So what creates the names of Event opportunity records? They seem to be tied to the registration levels. Is there a way to customize the Event opportunity names?
Thanks,
Archana

Good day!
WID is not a feature of event and as such event registrants and attendees cannot satisfy a WID match. Since Event does not post WID any WID will not match. Any WID requires a WID and a NULL WID does not qualify as ANY.
The Opportunity name will work with event if you add an SKU to the LEVELS. Any SKU does not mean a NULL SKU.
Hope that answers your question.

Do C&P settings apply to records created by C&P Events
Hi,
Do the C&P settings such as 'Contact&Account' and 'Opportunity' settings apply to the records created by C&P Event Management system? We have some Contact 'Record Type' settings and Opportunity 'Customize name' settings which don't seem to be working on contact and opportunity records created by the Event Management system. Do these settings only apply to records created by the Donor Management System? If so, where can we change similar settings for records created by C&P Event Management system?
Thanks,
Archana
