Authorization Required after Registering

Hi,
We have created an event with a custom payment option "Mailing in Check". When this is selected and the Submit button is hit, you go to an "Authorization Required" page.
I have followed the post installation instructions and the troubleshooting article and it still is not fixed.

Authorization required is simply because the web user does not have permission to see the page. So it is 100% because of permission issue that is not set right.

We can gladly review your account and find out what post-install step you have missed.

We have evaluated your instance and found out that a few steps were not completed correctly in the post-installation. They are fixed now.

But you are going to have a problem with your instance. When a contact needs to be created a validation rule is being triggered for State two-letter code generating the following error:

Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION, Please use proper two-letter State abbreviations: [MailingState]

Please remove the validation since the event will NOT work if the end user does not enter a 2 letter state abbreviation. In 2 weeks we will be releasing 1.100+ which will replace the state & country list with a pull down menu fixing the problem that you are going to face in case the user does not enter the correct code.

For testing we created a test event and ran a complete test of your instance and unless that validation rule is removed Contacts cannot be created by the system.
