  • No Contact associated when Event Registered Attendee is Created

    I just started experiencing an issue when individuals register for an event that a Contact is not being associated with the registered attendee. The Registrant is populated as well as the registered attendee name but there is no associated Contact. I upgraded about 2 weeks ago to the latest event management app so I am not sure if this has something to do with it.

    Good day!

    Your attendees are in the Temporary Contact for Event. Please follow the post installation and instructions to get a better idea what is going on.
    In this version if an attendee is not already in the system as a Contact it will be placed in the temporary contact for review.

      In each of these instances an attendee had a contact already created however the individual was not associated with it.

        The only way this can happen is if something about the contact does not match the matching criteria set in the C&P Contact.

        For example if in the C&P Setting you have: First name, Last name, and Email and if the new contact has one of these different when registered. If the entered values are different then depending your setting (fully automatic, semi-automatic, or manual) the attendees will be associated or not associated with the contact.

        Please review your settings.

              Attendees do NOT show in the C&P Temporary Contact- they show in "Manage Temporary Contacts for This Level"

                Thank you very much for your continue help!
                I am not sure why my picture didn't post but yes this is what my configuration looks like but there are no temporary contacts showing up even when I select manage Temporary contacts for this level under Event Registered Attendees.

                  We need to check your installation. Please create the following user and let us know when it is done so we can login and check your setting.

                  UserID: <Your Domain>@CnPCheck.org
                  Email: [email protected]

                  Once we have the info we will set the password and review your account.

                  There is also an update to 1.98 today (1.99) based on an issue discovered yesterday which is not related to your case. Please upgrade to the latest release.

                              Good day!

                              We reviewed your account and found out that your UserID & Password in the C&P Profile > 3rd Party Integration > Salesforce is incorrect and the connection fails.

                              Transactions are not being posted to your Salesforce due to incorrect token or password. Please make sure to keep the connection up-to-date or set up a user with a password that does not expire. When our system cannot connect to Salesforce nothing will post to Salesforce and all bets are off.

                              The following is the message we get from Salesforce when we test your connection setting:

                              INVALID_LOGIN: Invalid username, password, security token; or user locked out.

                              Please review your setting and test it again. Let us know if you are still having a problem.
