I am just starting to deploy C&P to update my NPSP account. I have used a batch update in Salesforce to record membership donations I've received in the mail; now I will ask people to use C&P through our non-SF website. But a lot of donation checks will still come to me. Should I record them in SF as before or go thru C&P? If they aren't already in C&P their info won't load so it won't be as fast as going straight to SF. I can't find any instructions on this.

Good day!
It is best to use the Virtual Terminal for this purpose. If you want to simply record the transaction and not process it through the gateway then you can use the Custom Payment Type and set it as: Cash, Check, etc.
