Salesforce App Primary Campaign Source Precedence

How does the precedence of primary campaign source work in the Salesforce app campaign settings? If C&P Transaction Campaign Map and Custom Fundraiser Campaign are both set, will the Primary Campaign Source be set to the Fundraiser campaign? Does it work in the order that the mapping settings appear on the settings page, such as the whatever the last set mapping is the Primary Campaign Source will take those settings? Thanks.

It depends on the source of the transaction as well as the certain conditions which decide the precedence of the Primary Campaign Source for the opportunity.

• If we do a transaction from SF VT, Primary Campaign Source settings (C&P Settings > Campaign > Opportunity Primary Campaign Source Map) will take precedence.
• If we do a transaction from CONNECT VT without selecting the Funraiser and Team, then the Primary Campaign Source settings under (C&P Settings > Campaign > Opportunity Primary Campaign Source Map) will take precedence.
• If we do a transaction from CONNECT VT by selecting the Fundraiser and Teams then the "CONNECT Team Campaign Map" and "Custom Fundraiser Campaign" settings (C&P Settings > Campaign > CONNECT Team Campaign Map settings and Custom Fundraiser Campaign) will take precedence. Please note that, in this case, Teams Campaign will be the parent of the Fundraiser Campaign. Please see:

Thanks for that info. How does the transaction campaign mapping fit into this? You referenced what would happen if C&P Settings > Campaign > Opportunity Primary Campaign Source Map and CONNECT Team Campaign Map" and "Custom Fundraiser Campaign" are set, but not C&P Settings > Campaign > C&P Transaction Campaign Map.

If C&P transaction map not there then it will be blank.
