  • Campaign SKU settings

    I was attempting to demonstrate the campaign SKU mapping process to a new employee but the system will not allow her to "lookup". When she chooses that option, the screen reverts back to the form that you get when you click 'Add Primary Campaign'. I've looked into the profile, permission sets, etc. but am not seeing anything that addresses this action. The system is working fine for me as a system admin but the employee has a different user profile. Is there something that I'm missing that needs to be updated for her to use the SKU functionality?

      I tried to attach a video capture showing what it is doing but it is too large and it's not really capturable via screen shot; try to access the attached link to the video in Dropbox. If it doesn't work, all you have to do is attempt to add a new primary campaign using the lookup function to see the issue. The user is livey for org ID 00D36000000vZDF and access has been granted for one week. Thanks!

            That did it, thanks! However, how would I go about giving her permission to grant access to your support should she need it in the future? It isn't an option on her screen even though I've added her to the three C&P permission sets that reference 'all permissions'.

              For the Standard profile, the user will not have an option to grant access. In this case, you must create a user with the same profile for us.

                I'm sorry but I don't understand. Hers is a custom profile that has the three C&P permission sets that reference 'all permissions' assigned to it. If you mean that we have to create a "C&P" user with her profile, how would that help as it would show the same thing? And, we don't have extra licenses to just create another user.

                  We understand that you have assigned the permission sets but it is Salesforce that won't give an option to the standard users to grant access. If you create a user for us we can log in and see the effect after making changes to the permissions. In this case, you need to grant us access from the Admin user as well as create a user for us with that particular profile.

                    I'm sorry but I still do not understand what I can do if we don't have any licenses for new users. If you just need a user name without a license set-up with the same profile she has, I can do that; however, I'll need an e-mail address. Alternatively, I previously granted access so you should be able to do what is necessary to figure out the issue.

                      Yes, if we need we can share an email. However, is that user still have any issues?
