  • Using Autoresponder to send a reminder about an upcoming recurring transaction

    Hi,

I would like to be to send donors who have an upcoming annual recurring donation a reminder about this donation several days before the gift is set to renew. Is it possible to do this using the Autoresponder? I only see options for scheduling an email to be sent immediately, delayed, or on a specific date.

    Thanks!

    Good day @mgallogly

Sorry, it is not possible to send the reminder using an autoresponder. However, it is a good idea. I have forwarded it to our developers to see the possibilities to include it in future releases.

We are working on this now also. Basically we will be using Flow to set up an email in Salesforce that will go out two weeks before a gift is due based on the date of the incoming gift (the most recent recurring) plus the recurring periodicity minus 2 weeks/14 days. But it would be MUCH easier to set this up in C&P instead, so I'd welcome a new function for that.
