How to migrate to 4.x

I have version 3.15 and I want to migrate all of our households into the patrons section before we do the 4.18 upgrade. I have 2 questions:


1) Is this the correct location where I should be migrating our donors?
2) Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to do this manually one by one?
