  • Unable to Change Salesforce Campaign and Custom Mapping Issue

    Hi,

    I have two questions:
    1. We have a Click and Pledge donation form that has a Salesforce Campaign listed in the "Salesforce Settings" of the form, but when we tried to change those settings to reference a different Salesforce Campaign, we noticed that setting was deprecated and unable to be changed. We'd like the Opportunities created via that form to be associated with a different Campaign than the one listed in the form settings. If we update the "Campaign SKU" on the Click and Pledge Campaign and set up the SKU mapping accordingly within C&P settings, will that overwrite the campaign that is listed at the form level?
    2. We have a custom question on our form called "Indicate how you would like to be acknowledged in donor lists" and the answer to this question is supposed to map to the Donor_Publication_Name__c field on the Opportunity. On recent Opportunities, this field mapping has not been working and the answer to that question on the form has not successfully mapped to the field on the Opportunity. I checked the C&P settings and the custom mapping is set up correctly. Is there anywhere else I should check?
    The organization ID is 00DA0000000ZoWt and I have granted one week of login access.

    1. To utilize the new feature of Campaign SKU and Form SKU in Connect, you will need to upgrade your SF instance with the latest versions and set the Campaign & Form SKUs at Campaign and Forms respectively. With the new feature, you can map the SF Campaign under C&P Settings > Campaign.

    2. We reviewed the following Order#61267-2201291639390698117 in your instance and found that the mapping is working as expected. Please see:

        Hi,

        I just submitted a test transaction that generated Order 61267-2202101627211183244. There are a couple issues I noticed:
        • The "Donor Publication Name" on the Opportunity should be "Jessica Townsend" but it's "Jessica". The custom mapping should pass the value of the "This gift is made in honor/memory of:" custom question into the "Donor Publication Name" on the Opportunity but only the first name passed in this case
        • 2 Opportunities were created, one is a $25 Opportunity and one is a $0 Opportunity
        Do you know what may be causing those issues?

          1. We have fixed it. It looks like you have changed/updated the custom question in the mapping which miss-matched the XML.
          2. We reviewed and found that the above transaction processed from Gravity Forms which is passing two items one with $0 and the other one is with $25. In order to review, we need to login into your GF instance and check what is going on.

            Hello, I created Case #00814764 on 2/19/2022 and I received a response saying "Your support case submission is currently in the queue" but I have not heard anything since then. I don't see a way to view my open cases from the Connect portal, is there any place I can check to see if there has been any activity on the case?

                Our developer reviewed the instance and suggested the following change:

                "For the Label “Other”, change the Value to “{SKIPIF0}” so that it won’t post duplicate items to Salesforce Opportunity Object."
